Platform guides for public links in the Windows desktop app.

Choose a platform to learn which URL types DownloaderAI can attempt to Analyze, where a workflow may fail, and how to keep permitted files organized locally. DownloaderAI is independent and is not affiliated with any listed platform.

Analyze before download

Support is a starting point, not a success guarantee.

The desktop client checks the URL, current page metadata, media items, and available formats before presenting a save choice. A platform can change its page structure or temporary media addresses, and a public-looking page can still require login, payment, DRM, CAPTCHA, or regional access that DownloaderAI does not bypass.

Windows desktop workflow

Move from New Download to a verified local file.

  1. New Download: paste one eligible URL and Analyze it.
  2. Format selection: review only the choices currently returned for that page.
  3. Queue and History: monitor selected tasks and completed records.
  4. Library: inspect local artifacts after completion.
  5. Private Session: keep a supported single-file workflow out of ordinary app collections without claiming anonymity.

Platform questions

Does a listed platform guarantee that every link will work?

No. A listed platform means DownloaderAI can attempt to Analyze eligible public URLs. Page types, access controls, available metadata, and upstream changes can still cause a link to fail.

Where are downloads processed?

The website does not process media. Analyze and download operations run in DownloaderAI Desktop on a 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11 device.

Does DownloaderAI need my platform password or Cookies?

No. DownloaderAI does not ask for platform passwords and does not support Cookie import or account-based bypasses.

Which content may I save?

Use DownloaderAI only for content you own, are authorized to use, or are otherwise legally permitted to save.
