Choose the right Edpuzzle content
Distinguish a teacher's own upload, an Edpuzzle lesson, and a video embedded from an external source. Adding questions to a video does not transfer ownership of the underlying footage.
Edpuzzle on Windows
For your own teaching material, keep the original recording first. You can Analyze an eligible authorized Edpuzzle video link in DownloaderAI for Windows; a course login or interactive assignment is outside this public-link workflow.
Download for WindowsDistinguish a teacher's own upload, an Edpuzzle lesson, and a video embedded from an external source. Adding questions to a video does not transfer ownership of the underlying footage.
DownloaderAI currently supports Edpuzzle, as confirmed by the product owner. This content update did not include a platform download test. Specific link types and outputs depend on the result shown by the client; a platform name or an underlying yt-dlp support entry does not prove every client feature works. DownloaderAI is an independent Windows desktop download tool and is not affiliated with the source platform. This website does not process or download videos online.
Workflow
Use the Download page for the current 64-bit Windows 10/11 installer, checksum, and installation guidance. Analysis and saving happen in the desktop app.
Confirm whether the video is your upload or an external source and copy the individual eligible video link. Do not submit student credentials, a class roster, or a whole course address.
Follow the app's applicable prompts, paste the authorized URL into New Download, and select Analyze. Review the returned media and formats; if nothing usable appears, follow the failure guidance below.
Select only a permitted result and a save location. After the task completes, open the chosen folder in Windows and check the file's content, playback, duration, and audio. Do not assume a fixed default folder.
Use cases
Edpuzzle documents uploading videos into My Content. Keep the original file separately so you do not depend on an assignment's continued availability.
Check the underlying host and owner permission. Use that source's legitimate page or ask for an authorized original rather than assuming the lesson confers download rights.
| What you see | Possible reason | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| The assignment asks for course login | Class access may be restricted. | Use an authorized original from the teacher; do not share a student or school account. |
| Video saved but questions are absent | A media file and an interactive lesson are different artifacts. | Retain lesson material through Edpuzzle's authorized teaching workflow; do not label a video as a complete lesson backup. |
| An external video is unavailable | The underlying host may have removed or restricted it. | Ask the teacher or rights holder for a permitted replacement. |
Separate the webpage, player, hosting service, and permission to save.
Review the current installer, checksum, and installation notes.
Check system requirements, output selection, and local save destinations.
Compare the relevant platform guidance and its scope.
No such export is promised. Edpuzzle describes video lessons with embedded questions and progress tracking; a local media file is not an interactive assignment or grade record.
No. Edpuzzle distinguishes uploaded videos from external-source lessons. Save only your own footage or material for which you have the required permission.
