DownloaderAI Desktop can attempt to Analyze an eligible public Clip or ended VOD link when it remains accessible and you have the right to save it. Live, removed, subscriber-only, and rights-limited pages have different outcomes.
No complete real-platform Twitch success path was revalidated for this UI release, and ongoing live-stream downloads are not supported. This web page only checks URL format and does not process or download videos.
Ended public VODs
An ended VOD may be analyzed while it remains public. Expiration, deletion, subscriber access, muted sections, music rules, and regional restrictions can affect the result.
Several authorized items
Queue can track individually authorized Clip or VOD links. It is not a channel monitor and Archive must not be interpreted as continuous collection from Twitch channels.
Platform notes
Clip, VOD, and Live pages are not interchangeable.
Live is not an ended VOD
DownloaderAI does not support downloading a stream while it is still in progress. A later replay may still fail if it is deleted, restricted, or unavailable.
Music and access restrictions matter
Muted portions, music rights, subscriber-only viewing, login, advertisements, DRM, and regional controls are platform conditions the app does not bypass.
Archive is a local record feature
Archive organizes supported local workflow records. It does not continuously watch all Twitch channels or promise automatic capture of future broadcasts.

Review public availability

Can DownloaderAI download a Twitch stream while it is live?
No. Ongoing live-stream downloads are not supported. An ended VOD is a different page type and is still not guaranteed.
Why might an old Twitch VOD fail?
It may be deleted, expired, subscriber-only, login-restricted, region-limited, affected by music controls, or changed upstream.
